Using Thinderbird Portable, the USB stick keeps getting smaller despite having Firefox re-directed to cache in a small partition on the sti ck. Thunderbird has the same structure, cache2/entries/ to hold internet and site information but I can find no mention of telling Thunderbird to use a separate location (where cache growth can be curtailed). Thunderbird accumulates cache2/entries at an alarmingly fast rate and there is no way to curtail its growth in the profiles folder. Can Thunderbird about:config be used to keep cache (temporary files) outside of profile? If so, how? If not, is there another way?
