Some sites, notably the Washington Post, display the title of the site in green letters between the lock icon and the actual URL. It takes up all the available space in the URL bar and makes the actual URL inaccessible. I would like to remove that site title. I tried this solution:

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1241326

but it did nothing, even after restarting.

Hi pjcamp,

those "green letters" (Extended Validation Information) will be removed by default in version 70. So I'd suggest you to wait 2 more weeks.

Hi pjcamp, if you didn't have a userChrome.css file before Firefox 69, you need to set Firefox to detect the file in about:config. See:
