i want to sen an email to a list of recipients (the list is an ms word document) but i do not want recipients to receive a list of email addresses that the email is sent to. the problem is that there seem to be multiple bulk email tools but the ones i looked at did not say whether each recipient would receive a list of all email addresses the email was sent to. please point out which bulk email tool meets my display of a single address.

If you send your list as BCC, no email addresses will be visible to other recipients. But the typical method of selecting a BCC address only allows for one address to be added at a time.

Even when you create the standard mailing list, Thunderbird does not expand it into the message "TO:" area.

There is a roundabout method.

Create your mailing list as a separate address book, with a distinctive name - e.g. "List-ClubExec"

To send to the list recipients: Open the Write window, then press F9, this opens the sidebar with your address book contacts. In the "Address Book:" dropdown, find your address book "List-ClubExec" and select it. Now the sidebar lists just the addresses in your "List-ClubExec" on separate lines. You can use standard selection keys to select one, several, or all of the addresses.

At the bottom of the sidebar, select "Add to BCC:". This will add all of your selected addresses to the message.

Some email providers may balk at messages without a "To:" address, so put your address in the "To:" area. This also provides the list members with the source of the emails, so they can judge the legitimacy of the message.
