Desktop Mode (On Mobile)
Wondering if a toggle option or some implementation of this will ever be added into the Android browser, as I've been waiting a long while now for this feature and especially as the user-agent fix no longer works.. Requesting desktop website fails as always to load the correct website version. Are there any other workarounds if possible? My device is new and I'd like to load desktop versions of websites on it when away from my home computer device as the mobile websites are clunky and don't provide as concrete a base of information. If it's at all feasible. Many thanks.

Hi,
The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other Firefox users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or Firefox developers.
In my experiance, the desktop mode does display a desktop page, but this is largely down to how the page has been designed. Ideally, the page should be responsive and provide a good mobile browsing experiance.

Hi
There is an option in the Firefox for Android menu to display as a desktop site. Mozilla's developers outreach work also supports the building of good mobile websites so that this should be less and less needed.
As I said the 'Request desktop' feature fails to correctly load a desktop version of the page, no idea why this is but it doesn't seem to work at all, is there any alternative fix for this?
Still searching for any answer possible..
Hi
What is the page where this is not happening correctly?
Most pages as far as I can tell, not sure exactly why.. It doesn't even try to interpret the page differently, it just loads mobile pages in the end. Am I doing something incorrectly? My settings have enabled and allowed for everything I can think of yet it still doesn't work. Is it a flaw with the browser itself or something else?
Anyone able to assist me on this?

Makes sense, I've already considered contacting the bug support team, will try that again. Many thanks.
