When I respond to events, they're sent from a different address than they one they were sent to - how do I fix this?

I have multiple email addresses I'm managing through Thunderbird. When people send event invites to my main email address, the replies I send to them come from a different account, and I can't figure out why. Here's what I mean:

Step 1: somebody sends me a calendar invite to my me@janedoe.com email address. Step 2: I click "accept" and "I want to send an email response now." Step 3: I check my sent folder, and see that the reply was sent from facebookthrowaway@janedoe.com.

I've scoured my settings and have no idea how to fix this - any ideas? This makes me look incredibly unprofessional, especially since I'm currently looking for a new job and many of these invites are for phone interviews... :(

Thank you so much!

I found the solution. When I viewed the properties for each of the native calendars in Thunderbird, the throwaway email was listed as its default. It took quite a bit of digging to find them. :( But at least it's fixed now!
