I put Firefox on 500% zoom one day and since that day its defaulted to 500% zoom when clicking on a video or just clicking into the tab from a different one. I managed to find an add-on that kept the zoom the same when going to new videos but the zoom still defaults to 500% when clicking into the tab. I've tried changing the default zoom to something else then changing it back to 100% and I've tried deleting cookies. It still does it in a private window with no add-ons enabled.

Thanks

You can rename (or delete) the content-prefs.sqlite file in the Firefox profile folder to reset the page zoom for all websites.

Type about:support<enter> in the address bar.

Under the page logo on the left side, you will see Application Basics. Under this find Profile Folder. To its right press the button Show Folder. This will open your file browser to the current Firefox profile. Now Close Firefox.

Locate the above file. Then rename or delete it. Restart Firefox.

Hey, Have you tried going to Options>>General then Zoom and check what's the default setting for zoom.

Default is set to 100%. I also set it to 500% then back down to 100%. That didn't work either.
