Is it possible that you've changed any font-size settings? In particular, setting a "minimum" font size sometimes causes text to stick out of the allotted space. To check on that:

(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button accepting the risk.

(2) In the search box in the page, type or paste font.min and pause while the list is filtered

(3) If any rows are bolded to indicate a custom value, click the left-arching arrow at the right end of the row to restore the default value

Did that make any difference?

Sometimes you can alter zoom levels with keyboard shortcuts like: control + c or z

I am assuming that the problem is with the browser but can’t say for sure. I know it happens on my Mac desktop but not on my iPad or iPhone and doesn’t seem to be affected by zooming in or out. The problem does not occur if I use another browser like Safari or Chrome.

Can you give an example of the overlap? I wonder whether you are getting the problem of certain icons replaced by words. Example screenshots in the following thread:

Here is the screenshot. As you can see on the left, GIVING STATEMENTS and PAYMENT METHODS are both shifted down to the block below. It has occurred on other websites that the overlap of text obscures other text.
