It's possible that the wrong profile is being invoked.
As a test, go to the url below and launch the other profiles listed. Then see if any of them contains your data.
If a profile does have your data, then set it to launch as your default profile.
Another thing you can try, if the above proves unfruitful, is to invoke a FF import from MSEdge.
In FF, click on Menu > File > Import
If the profile gets populated with your data, then let us know.
Thank you for your reply. There is no URL in your answer though. I have tried the Menu > File > Import, but it offers importing from other browsers. I have a fresh new OS, so there is nothing on this machine...

oh, sorry.
copy paste n go to:
about:profiles
then launch the other one(s) listed and see if by chance they have your data.
also, MSEdge is sneaky has been collecting data from FF. So this is why i suggested to execute an import by FF from Edge.
But you can first check to see if Edge has any FF data in it. Open it and look thru the options for its PW feature.
Did you possibly reset the password of the Sync account because you forgot the password?
Resetting the password for the Firefox Account will remove all data stored on the Sync server because this password is used to encrypt your data before it is uploaded to the Sync server and only this password can decrypt this data. You can't recover from this if you intended to use Sync to restore your data unless you have a local backup of your profile data.
You can check if you have a "C:\Windows.old" folder with your old data.
