When I’m viewing a web page using Windows 7, there are options listed to forward the link such as facebook, twitter, and an envelope icon. If I click on the envelope Thunderbird 68.12.1 opens.

But when viewing the same web page on another PC with Windows 10 if I click on the envelope icon I’m given options to Add an Account such as Outlook.com, Yahoo, Other account. But no option to use Thunderbird 78.14.0.

I don’t want to add any account, I just want to use Thunderbird to forward the link. Is there some setting in Thunderbird (or Firefox) that controls that, I could not find any.

Thanks

If TB is the default app for email and the mailto protocol (in W10 Settings, Apps, Default apps), Firefox Settings, General, should look like the attached picture. What does it look like?

Thanks - I did not have have TB set as the default mail app in Windows10. But it is now & works great. I'm behind the curve using Win10 & sometimes am not sure where to look for settings. Thanks again
