A blind friend of mine uses Thunderbird because he likes it and his screen reader (NVDA) will read everything to him. However, recently the screen reader has started saying "Property Page" at or near the start of e-mails in the inbox that it reads. So far I have not been able to figure out how to make it stop doing that. Also he says that until recently he has been able to use the Escape button to get out of one e-mail in the inbox and go on down to the e-mail below it. It doesn't do that any more. Any ideas, thoughts or opinions as to what could be going on? His computer is a refurbished Windows 10 Professional machine. Make yourself a great day; life is too short not to! Sincerely, Roy Burrus Shelby, NC

You forgot to mention what version of Thunderbird your friend currently using and what version of NVDA screen reader?

Does the NVDA need an update ? If these issues happened after a NVDA update then it might be worth checking if this is a known issue in NVDA.

I did locate a link to check for known reported issues in general but not specific to Thunderbird https://github.com/nvaccess/nvda/issues/

Hang on I've just found this: https://github.com/nvaccess/nvda/issues/11492
