Fire Fox no longer appears on the menu bar. I have to go to programs and open it each time I want to use Fire Fox. It will appear on the menu bar as long as I have it open but leaves the bar if I close it.

Do you mean you lost the Firefox shortcut on the desktop and also the shortcut on the Windows Start bar (taskbar) ? It shouldn't be that difficult to create a new shortcut on the desktop via the right-click context menu and drag the shortcut to the taskbar.

Where is the context menu? I have a FF icon on the lower menu bar as long as FF is open. It disappears from the bar when closed. It has bn there doe the last 10 year.

The - and + signs in the upper right corner of the page are not showing as enabled but rather gray scale

I have copied the upper right hand and lower left hand corners of my screen. The three symbols (-, screen size, and +)in the upper right corner are not displaced normally but rather in half tone as if to indicate they are not functioning as normal. When I close a FF page using the Red +sign the page closes and the FF icon in the lower menu bar disappears from the bar thus removing it from future use. I have to go to Programs and select FF to open it rather than just tapping the icon that used to be in the menu bar at the bottom of the screen.

Not sure what you mean by logged into a Browser. I have opened FF from the lower menu bar for years and have it set to open directly on a given website. This function disappeared last week just as the problem with the bookmarks tool bar was resolved.

Got it solved. The menu bar was hidden behind the open web pages and thus clouded. That was not the reason for the Fire Fox icon disappearing from the list of icons on the bottom of the page. That was because the menu bar was not Pinned there. All is well Thanks.

Make sure you run Firefox in desktop mode and not in tablet mode.

Please check the frameboxxindore before you recommend it again. My Malware software blocked it.

I'm on Linux and can't check whether webpages are blocked by security software and each has their own filters.

What reasons does your security software give for blocking this website as it isn't blocked by Firefox and Google (Google passes links through its safe browsing filter) ?
