I have been using firefox for several years. Have my bookmark icon on the menu bar on the right hand top. The drop down list of bookmark appear on the right and submenus appear on the left of the drop down list. Recently one folder began showing the sublistings on the right side, it used to display them on the left. All of the rest are displayed on the left side.

The titles of these bookmarks displayed on the right are some of the shortest in length.

Is there a way to set this back to the left side?

If there are bookmarks or folders with a long name then Firefox can open a folder to the left to allow for sufficient space. You can edit bookmarks with a long name and shorten their names, but if folders are nested deeply then there can always be one that needs to be opened to the left.

Let me say this once again. The contents of folders always opened on the left. Nothing changed with one folder but it started opening on the right. Why? Can I force it to open on the left?
