Hi, none of the virtual meeting applications (googlemeet, teams, etc.) are working on my firefox last version for OSX. The same in troubleshut mode. But it's fine on my Mac using Safari. I'm convinced that there is some configuration I touched in the last year as before I don't had this problem.

Can someone help me?

Thanks,

Hi there,

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with virtual meeting applications on Firefox for macOS. As a Firefox support volunteer, I'd be happy to help you troubleshoot this problem.

Firstly, let's try some general troubleshooting steps to see if we can resolve the issue:

Clear cache and cookies: Sometimes, stored data can interfere with the proper functioning of websites and applications. Clearing the cache and cookies can help resolve this. To do this, you can go to the Firefox menu, select "Preferences," go to the "Privacy & Security" tab, and under the "Cookies and Site Data" section, click on "Clear Data."

Disable extensions: Certain extensions or add-ons can conflict with websites or applications. Try disabling any extensions you have installed in Firefox and see if the issue persists. You can do this by going to the Firefox menu, selecting "Add-ons," and then disabling the extensions one by one.

Update Firefox: Ensure that you're running the latest version of Firefox by going to the Firefox menu, selecting "About Firefox," and checking for updates. If there's an update available, follow the prompts to install it.

If these steps don't resolve the issue, we can delve deeper into troubleshooting specific to virtual meeting applications. Please let me know if you're using any specific applications like Google Meet or Microsoft Teams, and we can proceed with targeted troubleshooting steps.

Looking forward to assisting you further.

Hi, all this has been done. Even restarting in troubleshooting mode. Let's go with google meet: I connect to the meeting I see the participants, but cannot hear or speak (mic and output are enabled) After 10 second the connection stop and a message appears: "Unable to start video call due to error"

For teams I can connect and see the slides, but on the picture of the participants indicates "Unable to connect", and I cannot hear or speak.

I should have some disabled something that I'm unable to find.
