We have 2 desktop computers, both on the same wifi internet wireless network. On 1 we can ad the Ublock Origin extension no problem. But except for only 2 times, the other computer says installation aborted because add-on appears to be corrupt. Like I said, we have gotten it to load twice but both times it disappeared and now it won’t load. I’m not sure how it can be a connectivity issue, since they both access the internet from the same source. Is it that the problem system has Window 11 and the other 10? Why would it install twice and then disappear? Note that as a test I have uninstalled Ublock and then reinstalled it no problem on the Windows 10 machine. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

Do you have ESET as that has caused that issue?

Thanks for replying. I do have ESET on both machines. Can you think of a reason that it would be a problem on only one of them?

No, I don't know. See the last post in this thread for a link to a relevant thread in the eset forum.

Thanks. I turned off secure all browsers, like the thread above suggested. Didn't work, off or on. Then looked at the Windows 10 one. It was on and not saying file was corrupt. So it works with ESET there, but not on the 11 system. Weird thing: when I used Firefox outside ESET on the 11, it loaded...but it makes me nervous to run w/o that protection. I'm going to get an ESET forum to try to help me figure out why it's a problem on only one of them. Thank you for your help
