A few days ago I changed to a new computer.

On my old Windows 11 computer in Firefox I could sign in with my [edited] @gmail account to my Blogger blog, see the New Posts page, edit my posts, post new posts and see the sign out option.

But on my new Windows 11 computer in Firefox I can sign in with my [edited] @gmail account to my Blogger blog, see the New Posts page, but I can't edit my posts. I am signed in but Firefox doesn't show the sign out option.

Whereas on my new computer in Chrome I can sign in with my [edited] @gmail account to my Blogger blog, see the New Posts page, edit my posts, post new posts, and see the sign out option. As always.

In Firefox it says there is something wrong with my [edited] @gmail account and to refresh it or change to another account. I don't now how to refresh it and changing to another Gmail won't work. But it lets me in to my blog's New Posts page!

How can I in Firefox on my new computer edit my posts and see the sign out option, as before and as always in Chrome?

Thanks but that didn't work. However, I have solved the problem! I went through Blogger's settings and found nothing. Then I went through Firefox's settings and arrived at the Privacy and Security setting. Under that heading I found Enhanced Tracking Protection and alongside it a box "Manage Exceptions." When I clicked on that it was empty. When I looked at the same box on my old computer it had two exceptions: https://theshroudofturin.blogspot.com https://www.blogger.com When I added those two exceptions to the "Manage Exceptions" box on my new computer and restarted Firefox. After I signed into my blog, it showed the sign-out option and showed the edit tool at the foot of all my posts! I vaguely remember that being an issue years ago when Blogger introduced that Enhanced Tracking Protection. But the owner of every new blog or existing blog on a new computer will experience the same problem with no ongoing guidance from Firefox how to solve it. If I couldn't solve it I would have had to move to Chrome with its bare bones interface.

To clarify, I can edit my current posts shown in my New Posts page. But my posts beyond that don't have the edit tool at their end. So my request is: how can I get Blogger to turn on the edit tool at the end of my posts.

Hi Stephen, did you carry over your old Firefox settings, or are you still setting up Firefox to work the way you had it before?

I don't use Blogger, so I don't know why the second page of posts would be missing tools that you can see on the first page. In case anything depends on color contrast, could you disable High Contrast mode and see whether that makes any difference? This article has the steps: Disable high contrast mode in Firefox.

Thank you for reporting back. A possibly easier way to add exceptions is to click the shield icon to the left of the lock icon in the address bar, then turn off Tracking Protection by clicking the slider switch. It's a common new thing to check when sites don't work normally, but I'm not sure people have tuned into it yet.
