Started as an auto update on thursday. it is now friday i am being prompted to resume update download. download screen is locked and will not get rid of what is already downloaded. should i just delete the downloaded portion of the 3.6.9 .exe file. it has not been attempted to install as of yet. just cannot finish the download and cannot force the download to go away and start over,

In particular the section on "Software Update not working properly", I would start with the part about manually resetting the Software Update feature by deleting the files and folders that it mentions.
