DENIC published this Thuesday that it will now be possible to register german(.de) ß(esszett)-Domains. Is Firefox able to resolve these domain names? At the moment domain names with a ß are converted to ss e.g. weiß.de goes weiss.de

A bug for this is already filed. Please see https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=649341

It seems they plan to implement IDNA2008 standard soon which will make it compatible
