Every time I open firefox it hangs after about 10 seconds and can only be closed with task manager. Task manager does not report that the application is not responding. No other applications seem to suffer from the same problem

Worked it out - my profile had become read only. Uncheck "read-only" in the properties tab for the profile and it works again!

Scratch that, was working last night, has now gone back to the same problem. About to switch browsers...

I am also having major problems with the Firefox upgrade. Mines freezes up (says not responding) before I even try to open anything. I cannot view any videos on YouTube nor can I watch movies on Netflix (you need the Firefox browser to stream movies). Everything was working just fine until I did the upgrade.

Solved it (maybe...)

If it hangs, alt-f4 once. This should get firefox working again. To stop it handing alltogether, go in to add-on manager and disable "conduit engine 3.3.3.6" Restarts firefox and should be sweet.
