Old Firefox just remembered text entries. New Firefox is a pain in the a** - it will not remember text entries unless I follow advice (from who r these people!?) that has me disable passwords in order to gain text entry, now it won't remember PW. The old Ff did both without all this hassle. U make MIE look better. B

  • You enter Private Browsing mode if you select: Tools > Options > Privacy > History: Firefox will: "Never Remember History"
  • To see all History and Cookie settings, choose: Tools > Options > Privacy, choose the setting Firefox will: Use custom settings for history
  • Uncheck: [ ] "Automatically start Firefox in a private browsing session"


Websites remembering you and automatically log you in is stored in a cookie.
