Horrible How do I my old Firefox back? My iinterface with Yahoo emai and eBay email is horrible. Typing is character by character and is delayed in showing on the screen, as it is now. I want my old Firefox back.

I have the new beta Firefox 4 on my Acer Aspire ONE netbook (Atom Z520, 1.33GHz, 2GB RAM, 250GB Drive, 802.11G WiFi connection, Vista stripped down (UGH!)) Even now, my typing is delayed with each character showing up about 0.5 seconds after being typed (remember laptops in the old days?!). This didn't happen with Firefox 3.x. I would like to roll back my browser to 3.x. I can't use this beta. SpaceDoc AerospMed@yahoo.com

Thank for the response. The reassurance that I was looking for ("If you still want to downgrade to a previous version, you can do so by downloading and running a previous version's installer.") was in the second link. The Firefox 3.6.17 is now working fine with typing delays eliminated.

UGH ! ! I now have 3.6.17 loaded on both my netbook (see above) and my desktop (unchanged version had worked properly). However, now on neither computer will Firefox application load consistently. Last night Firefox loaded just fine on both computers, but now, looking at Task Manger, no application is running. However, the firefox.exe *32 process is running, with load sizes varying from 1,952K to 54,292K. I have just tried loading the program again and was successful on the netbook - the only time of about 6 tries. Can anyone tell me what is happening? Have you made 4.0 the defacto version online and could that be interfering with loading 3.6.17?
