I have updated to firefox 9.0.1 on my desktop and it have reverted back to 3.6 twice by it's self and i don't know why it is doing that.

Now from your useragent(Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0; rv:9.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/9.0.1) we see that you are in latest supported 9.0.1.
