Yesterday morning when I logged on Firefox updated and then started. Since that update everytime I log onto my G-Mail account Firefox crashes

This event only started yesterday morning after an automatic update by Firefox. It has never happened before. Each time I open G-Mail Firefox crashes. I have downloaded Firefox twice since but it still happens I thought about removing Firefox altogether and downloading it again, but then I would lose all my bookmarks I suppose. I,m not an expert with computers. Any help please
