This thing can get you divorced... no matter how often you clear history cache etc etc, all anyone has to do is type a letter into the browser and all the sites youve visited beginning with the letters typed in will appear ... Someone please tell me you can disable this feature please?

You are able to specify whether History is saves, or cleared after each session, also there is a Private Browsing feature, that may be used temporarily or left on all the time. It is also possible to vary what appears as you enter into the location bar. Finally if you set up separate user accounts on your OS that will allow different users to be separated, or slightly more advanced separate firefox profiles may be setup.

None of this necessarily totally hides your internet activity from someone who knows what to look for and check (nor from your ISP/Employers IT Dept).
