Recently I updating my firefox but within a few hours it stopped working. I constantly receive a "Mozilla Crash Reporter" that says: "We're Sorry

Firefox had a problem and crashed. We'll try to restore your tabs and windows when it restarts.

etc....." It gives the option to restart but when I click "Restart Firefox" the same window pops up again and again and again. I tried restarting, opening in safe mode, running scans (I have Norton 360), and system restore. Any thing to do with mozilla won't open and I'm not trying to uninstall because I have all my bookmarks in Firefox. The details of the "Mozilla Crash Reporter" states the following:

AvailableVirtualMemory: 2023514112 BuildID: 20111220165912 CrashTime: 1328338399 InstallTime: 1327124002 Notes: xpcom_runtime_abort(###!!!
