Is there a FF Addon for forums that can ignore poster and post?
Is there a FF Addon for forums that can ignore poster and post? So basically lets say you visit a forum and post and read posts and there is a troll that posts nonsense to pose arguments with the intent to do so and doesn't contribute to the thread... Hypothetically with a FF addon like a 'forum ignore' (lets call it for reference purposes) type FF addon you could enter the poster's username and it would blank out their username and anything that they post for example, hence solving the problem and solving the troll issue and making forums a much better place to post in without concerning yourself with needless troll arguments... Thanks.

hello, i'm not aware of any addon with such functionality, but many forums have a inbuilt ignore list that you can activate in the preference panel/control section of your account.
Hmm, yeah they do but some don't unfortunately and I would like to see that implemented but it may few and far between to expect anytime soon and so in the mean time I was hoping that FF might have something such as an ignore setting or an FF addon that would suffice... I came across something a while ago that did something along this line but I believe that it was removed by the owner for unknown reasons and wasn't compatible with newer forms of FF, but it would sure be useful if someone could make one...
If you know Javascript, you can write a user script and run it with Scriptish or Greasemonkey. You might also find ready-made scripts on Userscripts.org, or you if you can't find what you're looking for, someone on the forum there might help.

What is really needed is a generic forum ignore program for forum trolls, where the user could simply input the forum website address and then add the troll forum member and then everything they post including their very existence is gone at least as far as the user is concerned...that would be nice.
Any other ideas, there was a FF Addon called 'FfVb 1.20' but the owner didn't update it and it has since been removed...apparently it blocked unwanted forum posters and their posts...
