In the Help menu is the choice "restart with add-ons disabled" I tried to find out what the consequences of this command would be, but I can't get any results on that SPECIFIC command. If I try it, will I permanently disable my add-ons?

I gotta ask this because I have had nothing but trouble with Mozilla add-ons lately, especially the themes.

I'm getting tired of Firefox

Basically what the Restart with Add-ons disabled does is it closes your Firefox, and them opens it in Safe mode, which is a temporary mode where all add-ons are disabled, and settings are set to their defaults. This helps you be able to test and see if your issue exists without third-party variables. Then, when you close and restart firefox again, it starts as it was before without add-ons.

Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode is an article that explains it a bit more.

what trouble with add-ons are you having specifically?
