The built in PDF viewer (pdfjs) is a nice tool, but I'd like to set preferences for it so that:

1) `Page Width' is the default view 2) The sidebar is turned on by default 3) The sidebar shows `Document outline', not `Thumbnails'

Anybody knows whether and how this can be done?

TIA,

Guivho.

Hi guivho,

Go to the address bar and type about:config

Then click on I'll be careful, I promise! Button. Now search with key word pdfjs.

There You can set Your preferences for built in pdf viewer.

Hi pmjcreations,

Thanks for reminding me of about:config.

However I feel that the preferences panel should provide settings for pdfjs, so that any user can set them through an appropriate UI.

And unfortunately, my setting wishes don't seem to be covered by about:config, too bad...

Yes, it is correct, but firefox don't have that option right now, maybe in a later update/version, i'm not sure when.
