Under Firefox orange Menu. Select Options > Options. Then Under General You can set Your Home page.

To set a blank page as Your Home page, You can use about:blank in the Home Page Text area.

Setting your home page to about:blank, as shown above, should solve this :)

btw: Firefox 23.0.1 IGNORES(!) about:blank, either in awasome bar/address bar or in option home page.

Nope, about:blank works just fine in Firefox 23.0.1, must be something wrong with your Firefox. try to Reset it, and if you continue to have trouble, start a new thread :)

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.

@Tylerdowner: you're right! Seemingly Tab Mix Plus 0.4.1.0 ignores [about:blank], with disabled add-on the command works again. Sorry ... :-)
