I can't play any videos on metro mode on my Nightly in Windows 8. It asks to install flash player. Although I had the latest flash player and Adobe Shockwave player, I tried re-downloading and reinstalling them. But to no good. In desktop mode , everything seems to work just fine. A solution to this inconvenience will be highly appreciated.

Isisombululo esikhethiwe

hello, similarly to IE's metro mode plugins are currently not considered to be supported in the metro version of firefox. you should be able to watch html5 videos though: www.youtube.com/html5

elsewhere i've read that it would be possible to enable plugins even in metro mode by entering about:config into the firefox address bar (confirm the info message in case it shows up), searching for the preference named plugin.disabled & toggling its value to false. i don't have win8 myself, so i cannot test if this is really working.
