Hello akashp034,

The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information.
Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.

To Reset Firefox do the following:

  1. Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
  2. Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
  3. Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
  4. Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

Further information can be found in the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article.

To change the homepage kindly follow the following instructions:

Go to the page you want to set as your homepage > Click the Orange Firefox button > Click the small arrow on the side of the Options button > Click the Options from the drop down list > Click the General tab on the top > Select Use Current Pages > This will set the current page as your homepage

To set a Homepage from a bookmark , Click "'Use Bookmark"' instead of Use Current Pages

That's if the problem persists reply to this I will get back to you!

Did this fix your problems? Please report back to us!

Thank you.

You might be able to remove "qvo6" using some supplemental malware scanners. This thread has recommendations: Virus Homepage.

Some malware injects its home page override using one or both of the following techniques. You'll need to check for these manually.

  • Modify your Firefox shortcut by adding the unwanted URL. Right-click the shortcut and view Properties. On the Shortcut tab, check the target field and remove any URL from the end.

Can you get rid of it?
