downgrade firefox to 29
About 3-4 hours ago I upgraded to Firefox 30. I have lost the look and functionality that I prefer. I have spent several hours trying to get it back, but nothing I have tried has fixed it and several things have made it worse. I think this is just not worth it. I want to roll back to ffx 29. I understand the warnings, but I don't want to switch to a different browser any more than I want to switch to ffx 30. On Mozilla's help pages, there is a link to a page of folders, but it is not clear how to downgrade to ffx29.

In my opinion you need uninstall Firefox 30,(it should be remain the earlier profile) then a clean install of Firefox 29, thereafter should copy all from old profile folder into the newly created profile directory. That is all.
If you use the search bar on the website for "install older version" there is a link on that page for the version below what you are using.

Thanks, I do see a link on that page for firefox 28, but I don't see any way to get back to 29. Is 28 it?
Sounds that you are on the beta update channel if you updated to the next beta version, see Help > About
You will have to install the full version of the current Firefox release.
You can find the full version of the current Firefox 29.0 release in all languages and for all Operating Systems here:
I just got upgraded to ff29 and went looking for the ff28 link myself, so I think that's what your looking for.
How do I do a clean install of Firefox 29? I don't have an .exe / setup file.
For a clean install of ff29 just uninstall then go to firefox.com with another browser.
OR try this link; https://download.mozilla.org/?product=firefox-stub&os=win&lang=en-US
Oh sorry, my mistake. I just updated to firefox 29. I guess there is no 30. I'm so frustrated by 29 that I'm at my wit's end.
Thanks to zoli62, BrendanMS, & cor-el for all your help. I have successfully downgraded.
