Hi, I have AVAST anti-virus.

Trying to connect to my YAHOO site (and many other sites) from Firefox , I get an "unrecognized issuer" message regarding the AVAST CA: i.e. the avast certificate is not recognized (see image)

Trying to connect to the same site(s) from Chrome, I get a "valid CA" message regarding the YAHOO certificate (see image) - no AVAST CA in the middle (at least not mention in a message...) .

My question: Why ?

No matter how many times I clear "everything" from history, I still see firefox suggestions on the new tab page from websites I visited months ago. This is really annoying and could be embarrassing if you were on certain sites. I will NEVER understand why the default is to hang on to old data.....when it should be the opposite; users should choose to retain ONLY the history they choose to. I have CLEAR HISTORY when firefox closes checked....this is BROKEN please fix it

Recently on line viewing panda webcams (thinking I was at zoo in California). Unfortunately, China and Japan both picked up during this viewing. I am no longer able to simply delete cookies - due to constant updates. I have attempted to delete them - following asst., information that is available. I am 82 years old - and not that savy with a lot of the computer instructions on line.

ANY suggestions and/or help - appreciated more than you know.

One of the add-in permissions is "Access your data for sites in the “named” domain". I looked at that and thought, "That certainly cannot include passwords"; BUT the explanation for this permission is: "The extension could read the content of web pages you visit in the specified domain, as well as data you enter into those web pages, such as usernames and passwords. "

I was stunned.

That means that addins that get this permission have access to my banking/medical/etc. usernames & passwords. This is not acceptable. Can a permission be developed that would be: "Access your data for sites in the “named” domain" (except usernames/passwords).

The permission "Access your data for all websites" is significantly worse in that it applies to all sites.
