I cannot register because it does not tell me my logon name.

I had to create a new email address and create a new account just to ask this question because I could not log on after a password change and could not find my user name. This is what you have to go through to get around your stupid automatic system. THE PROBLEM IS that I when I log on to my bank, their site does not remember my computer ON FIREFOX. If I use EXPLORER, it works fine. I cannot find the switch. Also, my basic Igoogle account never remembers my password anymore. Other sites do, what gives? I searched all the help and nothing answered this. Live chat is CLOSED as usual. If I cannot fix these problems, then I will stop using Firefox all together.

Hi,

I'm sorry you are having this problem with Firefox not remembering your settings and that the SUMO site was not helpful. I think you can find this in your Preferences, under Security, is the Remember Passwords box checked?

The problems you are having might be caused if cookies are disabled in the Firefox settings. For instructions to check if cookies are enabled, see: Enhanced Tracking Protection in Firefox for desktop
