Si può reimpostare la password principale seguendo quedsta guida https://support.mozilla.org/it/kb/password-principale-thunderbird#w_reimpostare-una-password-principale-dimenticata-o-persa

Attenzione al fatto tutti gli username e le password memorizzate per accedere alle posta verranno resettati e dovranno essere reinseriti manualmente.
