My freshly installed Thunderbird will not open using the launcher. I am on Linux using KDE and Wayland. I notice if I use the Terminal it will open.

Thunderbird 115.4.1 I tried removing my ~/.thunderbird directory, but no luck there.

From another support person "It can be a wrongly configured .desktop file or the binary isn't in the user $PATH. So it works from the terminal if they launch it with the full path but doesn't from the launcher since the .desktop probably container only the executable name (e.g. Exec=Thunderbird)."
