go to----View->Character Encoding->More Encodings->UTF-16.
Most computer text is encoded as either ASCII or 8-bit Unicode i.e UTF 8
Could be an issue with security software that modifies the response headers and passes gzip on image content to Firefox as normal content.
You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
- Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
- Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
- Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test.
