Delay during email draft
Thunderbird seems to be connecting to the internet during an email draft because the application pauses and the typing is delayed. When disconnected from the internet, this does not happen. How can we disable internet access except during a "send"

You can tell Thunderbird to use the Drafts folder of your Local Folders account to save a draft instead of the Drafts folder on the server. Check your Account Settings.
