How do I access a newly installed extension?
I just installed a new Firefox extension for a (cloud based) to-do list manager called Todoist, but I can not see or find any visible means of accessing or using this new extension in the browser, even though it's now listed in my extensions. Am I missing something here?

Just after I sent off my last reply I discovered what the problem was...the icon was being posted in my navigation bar, which I did not have open. So after I found it I clicked on customization and dragged the icon to the menu bar, and then closed the navigation bar from view again.
Problem solved....thanks everyone!!

Move your mouse to the top of the Firefox window, then right click. You will see a menu of the available toolbars. Select Customize. In the new window, look for the icon. When you find if, hold down the left button on it, and move it to where you want it to be. You can move any of the icons you want from here, but some icons are locked in place.
I looked there again, as I had done previously, and there is still no icon posted. I have also gone to Todoist website, copied the URL, and created a bookmark toolbar icon manually for a shortcut, but I have yet to figure out what purpose is served by installing the Firefox extension except to allow it's display a sidebar.
Thanks for your help......I appreciate it.
Go to View >> Side Bar, can you see the Todoist? DId you try reinstall the addon? Check if the addon is active, go to Tools >> Addons >> Extensions >> look for the Todoist and verify if it is active

Yes, I had found todoist in the sidebar list, and todoist is also present and active in my FFX extensions, but the icon will not situate itself on the menu bar as demonstrated in the You Tube tutorial. I have tried reinstalling the extension a couple times, but the icon does not appear for some reason, so I've manually loaded the icon in my bookmarks toolbar.
Don't know why the installation of the extension doesn't create a toolbar, and without that I am unaware of any purpose for installing the extension...it just uses up more resources and accomplishes nothing....so far as I know. Am I correct about this?
Thanks for your help, it's very much appreciated.
