Can I disable the encryption of the email subject (next future)

more options

I see it here [https://support.mozilla.org/en/kb/ope.../openpgp-thunderbird-howto-and-faq] that the new Thunderbird (78.2.1) cannot disable subject encryption:

Can I disable the encryption of the email subject No, not at this time.

I'm emailing my friend, he's using the K9 Mail app on Android, which can't turn off the encrypted subject. The three dots (...) in the subject are quite confusing and also affect us in search.

Using Enigmail (DEB package or XPI add-on) we were able to turn off subject encryption.

Will this issue be resolved and when is it expected? Is it under planning? It would be good...
