Firfox stalls at about 90% done on the status bar. I keep getting a error stating Chrome://fflinkfilter/content/ikavlink/collection.js.15 searching stalls at this point

All searches are extremely slow and stall at 90% on the status. If you hit the mouse button, the whole screen go very light and is not functioning.

That message is due to some problem with the Kaspersky URL Advisor extension installed by your Kaspersky internet security software. See:

Disable that extension (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) to see if the problem goes away. See:

Thanks. Two extensions had problems. Kaspersky had an issue and was disabled. However, Skype has a red flag and stated problems. It was also disabled. It appears that this may have solved the problem. I will re post the result after playing with the various programs tomorrow.
