Hi tiffrederick,

You can check the passwords that are stored in Firefox in plain text in this menu: Firefox > Preferences > Security Firefox> Tools > Options> Options > Security

and click on the button "Saved Passwords" There you can filter by site and click "Show Passwords" to see the password that is stored. However if it is incorrect, you will have to go through the account recovery process that the email offers.
