How can I bookmark a smart search for bookmarks that, both, are in "Unsorted bookmarks" and have no tags?
I need it to comply with both criteria.
When I bookmark a page by clicking on the star, it goes to unsorted bookmarks (since I don't know how to make it go to Unsorted bookmarks with <ctrl>d) :-(
I then need to search for all the ones I did that (to read later) and categorize them (giving them tags), when I have the time.

If the bookmark is already in the bookmark folder, go to it and left click. Below is
an area where you can edit the information. Once done, you can move it just
like in any file explorer program.
If you want to make a new bookmark; left click on the link, or on an empty area
of the web page. A window will open showing the name and address on the new
bookmark. At the top is the name of the web page. Under it is the folder that
the mark will be placed. You can edit what you want. If the folder you want the
mark placed is not the one listed, go to the far right and click the arrow.
I am sorry, I should have explained better my intent.
What i really want is a workflow for my mourning reading of news:
I skim my rss reader and open all the news thar I think might worth reading in a new tab. Then I read those.
If an article is too long and I have other things to do, I wanto to mark it for later reading (when I have the time). Quickly, no choosing of folders or tags at all if at all possible.
What I woul like, then, is to have some means to quickly access all the bookmarks that where placed under "unsorted bookmarks" and have no tags attached. Those are the ones I marked for later reading/dealing. Thus the question for a smart folder selecting only the ones with no tags and in the "unsorted bookmarks" category. For all the other ones (the ones I already know and want to keep) they are all sorted in thematic folders or have custom tags attached (I use folders for the ones I want to keep permanently and tags for subjects I am dealing with at the moment, if curious).
So... your suggestion doesn't fit my needs. Thank you anyway.
Ahh. In the address window there should be a star. Left click the star will create a bookmark in the Unsorted folder.
Right. Now, I need to access those (in the unsorted bookmarks) that have no tags attatched by just clicking on a smart search or bookmark.
Here is part of the solution: If I create a bookmark with place:folder=UNFILED_BOOKMARKS as location, I can access the "unsorted bookmarks". I need something like place:folder=UNFILED_BOOKMARKS&place:tag="".

You can open the Bookmarks Manager (Library; Show All Bookmarks) and open the Unsorted folder in the right pane.
Then you can sort the bookmarks via the Tags column.
If necessary right-click the header bar to have this column visible (View > Columns)
Hum...
I know I can do that. But it doesn't help me with having a snappy way of bookmarking (notice I even intended to mark them with the keyboard instead of reaching for the mouse each time) and getting to the items I marked for later reading in a simple and quick way.
Maybe I should just redo my question in other terms. I'll do that hoping it is not inappropriate.
Thank you anyway. :-)

It might be best that when you create the bookmark, that you put the tab in as well, or place a notice for yourself as the tag.
That's what I am doing for now... :-)
