I have checked that the plug-in is up to date but it still brings the error up at the top of the page.

I am using a Mac, running Yosemite (although this happened before the update to Yosemite)

This problem generally causes due to malware activates that attacked to your system try to follow this step

1)please re install the add on , if it repeats same again then try to uninstall the whole browser and install once again
