Firefox for Android crashes often for me, I believe its because my tablet has a low amount of RAM.

I have a low-end tablet that (despite having 8GB of storage), only has 512MB of memory/RAM. I've already encountered a few games that won't run because of this limitation. Up until now, it was things I could live without. But I get frequent Firefox crashes and I believe it may be due to this same issue...insufficient memory. When Firefox crashes, I notice I have very little free RAM. I've gotten into the habit of force closing everything before I use Firefox, but this doesn't guarantee Firefox won't still crash. And by crash, I mean the application just spontaneously quits and drops me back at the home screen. I used to use AdBlock Plus, but I removed it to reduce Firefox's memory footprint size. I was wondering if anyone had any other tips or tricks to either reduce the amount of memory Firefox is using or to free up more memory on my system. In case it matters, my tablet is a Digiland DL701Q which runs 4.4.
