Why Windows take forever to download Thunderbird?
When I heard about Engimail, I wanted to download Thunderbird. I went to Mozilla Site and downloaded the lately version of Thunderbird. While I'm waiting for Thunderbird to be installed, it's taking forever (more than 30 minutes). I attached this message with a picture. I'm using the lately updated FireFox and trying to downloading Thunderbird. I tried to contact Mozilla through email when I don't find a solution on it website. What disappointed me is that Mozilla don't offer email to contact them directly, so I will have to drop my question here under community. Can anyone help?

30 minutes passed and still having this
lucky you have anti virus products to slow things down hey.
So, it was my anti-virus program that cause this?
that is my guess, and with so little information it is not much more than that.
all I know is I can download the 40mb installers for Firefox and Thunderbird in only a couple of minutes. There is no delay at all.
Oh.
I just tried to download Thunderbird again (after I turned off my anti-virus program) and it took me around 15-20 minutes of waiting before I force it to quit during installation. Same issue as before.
This is suck =(
My first q is do you mean it takes 15+ minutes to download? Its just 28MB (It took me less than a minute) If that's the case check that all your anti-virus programs are turned off. Same applies if it halts when it want to create a shortcut in start or an icon on your desktop some restriction hinders it.

Where are you getting your download. Here is the official site. Be sure to use it. To many stories of getting "extras" from other locations. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/?icn=tabz
I turned off the anti-virus program and tried to install Thunderbird. No success. Again, I clicked on the link that Airmail provided. Still, no success. I am still stuck at the installing bar. I will attach the picture below to show you what it look like.
You can tell on that picture that my anti-virus program is off. It showed a logo of the B with a tiny "X" on it in the task bar.
