I am running Firefox on windows 8.1. Each time Firfox opens the home page, it also opens a separate options tab. how do I stop this additionsal tab from op tab
Firefox opens an options tab each time I open a new window. How do I stop this?

A new window opens with the home page(s).
You can check the home page setting:
- Tools > Options > General > Startup: Home page
Firefox supports multiple home pages separated by '|' (pipe) symbols.
In Windows 8.1, the home page does not show any pipe symbol. Keeps opening options window when I start Firfox.
Re-entered home page and this corrected the problem. Thanks for your assistance.
