When replying or forwarding an email it shows "attaching" and will sit there for hours until I cancel. Sending an original email works fine.
For a few weeks now I've been having problems when replying or forwarding a message. Whenever I click reply or forward and type in my comments and click send a window pops up (not an error) that says "attaching". It will stay like this for hours (I left to do stuff and came back hours later and it was still working on "attaching") until I click cancel. When I originate the email it will go right out, no problem.

What is your anti-virus software?
Windows Defender
Try to start *Windows* in safe mode with networking enabled.

Still in Windows safe mode, start Thunderbird in safe mode.

Does the problem go away?
