I need to setup Firefox with specific settings so I can image PCs and not have to touch the setting in Firefox. I was wanting to change the Mozzilla.cfg file to accomplish these settings as follows:

- Privacy - History turn off all "use custom settings for history" opctions. - security - Logins, turn off "Remember logins for sites"

This is to prevent users from changes these settings

What history settings are you talking about?

"Use custom settings for history" allows to access the current history and cookie settings for inspection and modification. Selecting "Use custom settings for history" doesn't make any changes to history and cookie settings. Firefox will keep showing "Use custom settings for history" as an indication that at least one of the history and cookie settings is not the default to make you aware that changes were made. To see what prefs you want to lock you can check the about:config page for changes to specific prefs.

You can lock specific history settings to their default value to prevent user from changing them. Note that the mozilla.cfg needs to start with a comment line (//).
