History and cookies can be removed or not recorded several ways;

• 1) Running Firefox in Private Mode (nothing is recorded)
• 2) Privacy settings; (Type about:preferences#privacy<enter> in the address bar.)
• 3) Many disk cleaners and anti-virus type programs can remove data from browsers. Open their settings and have them leave the browsers alone.
• 4) Mal-ware.

I never use Privacy Mode, disk cleaners and have no reported Malware according to Malwarebytes. I use SuperAntiSpyware regularly but there're no settings for prtecting browsers. That's probably not the problem because I've been using SuperAntiSpyware since October and this is the first i've had this problem which started second week of this month.

The History Library says it's currently only going back to May22. If I go into "Import and Backup" it has listings from May 11 but it is also saying that if I open one of the dates, "This will replace all of your current bookmarks with the backup. Are you sure?" I certainly don't want to replace any bookmarks (which right now is my only connection to my Internet history).

All my Firefox Privacy Settings are correct as far as I can see.

Sounds that the older history got deleted if you only see the last seven days.

How many days are still there as that would tell when this happened?

When you visit websites then new history will be created and the other entries will reappear, but the old history is likely lost,

You can check in the history sidebar (Ctrl+H) to see if new entries are added by sorting the view by last visited.
