Why is firefox not accessing my online classes when it worked yesterday??!!!!!

more options

I can access my schools site but every time i try to go to the part of the website where i need to access my classes it says "secure connection failed". it worked just fine yesterday, if this doesn't get fixed i'm going to be screwed. the web address begins with HTTPS so this should not be an issue at all.

Does the error page have an "Advanced" button? If so, please click that for more information that would help us diagnose the problem, and paste it back here in a reply.

Did you install or update any software overnight? In particular, Firefox may fail to verify sites' SSL certificates if there's an intermediary. In some cases, the intermediary is your security software, and in other cases it's malware or an unknown proxy server.

If you have any of these products:

Avast, BitDefender, Bullguard, ESET / nod32, Kaspersky, AVG LinkScanner / SurfShield, or Microsoft Family Safety
